Yay!! It's Chinese New Year! Hehe......I just like this period though we only have 2 days of break -_-; ......
This year I I wore a bit more classic than the other years. I wore a collared long-sleeve button blouse with jeans and a necklace with a black string and a tick-tack-toe pendant. My father it was disgusting cause' the clothes was thin and the collar was unbuttoned. I'm not used to the unbuttoned collar....but my mother likes the clothes and said not to listen to him. We went to my Kao fu's (biggest uncle) house first. we were quite early. My brother carried his friend's video cam with him to do his project. He wanted to film the small kids in the family. He did. we collected some hong baos and ate tidbits. my aunt gave my mother a glass decor set for me and her to try and paste the works on the windows or where ever we want to. Then, we proceeded to my father's side relatives house. The place is very very small and it has a lot of people inside. Down there we will only receive 1 or 2 hong baos. there, we have to pay respect to our ancestors. After, that we visited to the last house which is my mother's cousin's house. They are famous for their tidbits....it's really nice to eat!! They also have 2 dogs. My 4th aunt was there already. so we sat, ate and chatted. After that, we went home but there were somemore people who visited my house. My father's niece and newphew came to visit together with their kids. i had $20 more...hehe.... I counted my hong bao $$ and it was $155 in all (parents and relatives). posted by Regina Ying at Friday, January 23, 2004
i had my jap class yesterday.....man....it was.....quite ok. The teacher's name is Tanaka Miki. she's nice, i think. I learnt some greetings and vocb words. Also we learnt the Hiragana words, all of them, and how to write and pronounce each of them. In the class of i think 30 +++ students, I was the only teenager and the rest were like adults. We even have a test/quiz next next week!!!!! Oh man, the school is really kiasu....

Man.....totally stressed out....tons of homework everyday....A and E maths everyday.....my Geography teacher is very tough to please....haiz...
Anyway, I'm still doing 'ok' in my studies, at least i think so cos i only had 1 A maths test...darn was that difficult! I've finally come to a decision on my art and jap. 1st thing, I'm not taking art as an extra subject (though my friends all said that i will score very well) and 2nd thing, I will still continue taking Jap! Heck if i fail the jap exams....it's outside school anyway... Oh! And can anyone tell me how to created my own background for this blog? posted by Regina Ying at Thursday, January 15, 2004
Ok, this friday 9 Jan we had this sec 1 orientation camp in school and the seniors had to 'promote' their CCAs to them. My choir performed for them and after we sang, all of the sec 1s were like clapping and cheering. The councilors(sp?) were also cheering for us...we were very surprised cause' for every of our performance, we don't uauslly have this kind of reaction from the audience...hahaha ^^;;;
This was also my first time being very happy about the performance! YAY! So now...don't know whether many sec 1s will join my choir or not....WE NEED PEOPLE VERY BADLY!!! The number of choir members is really pathetic... posted by Regina Ying at Sunday, January 11, 2004
