ok time for my top 10 worst in 2008.

1.Subject: ComDA. Argh... the thought of it makes me shudder. Never in my life would i want to go through that kind of odyssey again.

2.Experience: Got told off kindly by my internship boss becos of my shyness. I got very depressed that night. Haha. Thinking of it makes me want to slap myself for not doing the job right.

3.Returns: Father's return from China. He had been away for abt 4 mths for work there. When he came back, the smell and look of the new house didn't seem nice anymore. Totally messed up the whole place.

4.Technology: Bad addiction to the internet, specifically Poupee Girl. I love that website but it's taking away my life.

5.Possesion: Lost my 1st ever handphone and couldn't find a japanese-looking one. I thought i saw LG selling those but couldn't find.

6.Media: Seeing Jade Seah all over TV. I seriously have a deep grudge againist her. I'd vomit blood when i see her face. She isn't talented and pretty like people say she is! She should go and work at an office lah! She just makes the leisure of watching tv a nightmare!

7.Health: Eating repulsively and gaining a lot of weight. Yes, i have a bigger tummy and have LAYERS OF FATS around my waist. I'm trying to cut down my diet, but i can't help but eat... i'm hungry all the time!

8.Beauty: HAIR FALL. A bunch of hair can fall out when i bathe. It must be my dyed hair and the instant noodles.

9.Music: Rise of Disney stars. Miley Cyrus and Jonas Bros. No offence to fans but i've got 2 words: THEY SUCK! Their music is not my cup of tea. It's not good at all. And High school musical... sorry i just can't stand it.

10. Phone call: Call from an overly-cheerful girl who talks at the speed of light, promoting free or discounted make-over and photo-taking sessions. Ridiculous phone call. She thought i was married!! Wth!

Created this list after seeing Wanqi's Best and Worst of 2008.

Here's my top 10 Best.
Try to create your own too!

1. Activity: Moved house for the 1st time. Since 2 yrs old, i've been living in Farrer Court till August 2008. I went back to my old estate and my block and some blocks have been torn down already. I cried when i saw it. But now i love my new home.

2. Trips: Italy and China trips. Free and easying in Italy and going to the Colosseum was my life-long dream and i did it. I love Italy so much more now than i did before i went there. I learnt a lot of things abt travelling from my cousin. And going to China helped me to clear some doubts about that country. I've learnt to appreciate it much better.

3. Experience: Internship at Orient Design. Actually it's in between best and worst... but the bests weighed more. I was embarrassed and felt stupid while working there but i learnt a lot thanks to my colleagues and boss. I noticed i still talk about my company till now.

4. Best buys: Threadless and Ellen Degeneres shirts! Really, out of everything i ordered through the net, these are the stuff i'm truly happy for. Plus i got a free Ellen shirt!!! They sent me the wrong shirt and offered to send the correct one to me for free and told me to keep the wrong shirt. Only thing is that the wrong shirt is size S, i can't wear!

5. Relationships: Got to know more about my cousins through the Italy trip.

6. Best dramas: For once, channel 8 is showing decent and good dramas. Such as The Little Nonya, which i am literally hooked, and Bu Fan De Ai (aids awareness show). These 2 would definitely win many awards in next yr's star awards.

7. Emails: I got the correct email add of Reina's and she replied!!!! For once!! I'm glad she's doing good. She's now in a famous medical school that produced top doctors in Japan. Power lah, her brain! For those you who don't know her, she was my host when i went to Japan for an exchange programme. Haha.

8. Health: I exercised for the 1st time in nearly 4 yrs. Used the new estate's gym and pool but for a couple of weeks. Probably becos of this i could climb the mountain in China and withstand the walking in Italy. XDDD

9. Music: Daughtry is the band of the year, to me. Haha. And Do As Infinity has reunited!

10. Food: Food in Italy. The pasta, pizza, gelato, panna cotta, everything.

Top 10 Worst tmr! Personally the worst list is nicer to read... haha

I'm trying to draw crazily fast now...

Today i managed to do 6 complete linearts!
I'm aiming for 9 by 1 or 2 am tonight.
I've got to speed up, like seriously man...

Take note I HAVEN'T COLOURED except for 7 pgs.
This reminder has been clouding my mind every single second and i'm freaking out right now.
Colouring, if i do it fast, will take up to 2 weeks? shit man...

Another reminder is that... i do not need to spend so much time on drawing... as in, who will take time to go through every single detail in the book??
That's what i hate about it but can't help it...
I'll draw and colour as fast and as good as i can.

That stupidest of stupid sister of Yuzhu!! I felt like shoving her foot up her butt!
Yuzhu is the perfect example of hao xing mei hao bao (good things doesn't come to the good person?? ok sry direct translation).
She doesn't deserve that kind of treatment and future...
It's probably her timidness and character that made her go insane easily.
Yue Niang prolly won't be like that if she goes through the same thing cos she's much stronger in character.

Ya enough rant. Back to work.

Whut?!

I've just read the latest chapter of Vampire Knight and that was my reaction.
So the author's planning to have a '5 years later' thing?
I want it end to already lah... so draggy!
And either the scanlators or the author is too slow for updates.
I think it's the author... incredibly slow man.

I don't mind Naruto being draggy cos the plot and art is great.
VK, to me, is just so-so. Just that the art makes the people looks gorgeous but her art is very stiff.... especially in action scenes. I dunno what the hell is going on...

Er ya, anyway!
Went to watch Yes Man with mother and bro today.
It was suuuuuppppeeeerrrr hilarious!!!
It actually reassured me that starting to learn piano/guitar at this age is ok.
Yes, i sounded stupid. Of course you can!
Jim Carey is THE MAN. xD
It's a highly recommended movie.

Been out the whole day today, so i have to rush 2 more pages today.
I haven't emailing my lecturer since last week. He will look at me and say my progress is like crap.

I need my sleep but i'm not gonna sleep.
Back to work.

I finally picked up the drawing pace but still very slow.
Cos i'm now in a poupee girl frenzy.
Christmas event items are released! I resisted and thought through what i really want to buy cos i want to save up for the New Year's event which supposedly will have kimonos and such.

I'm down from 1200+ to 883 ribbons.
I have to spend wisely... xDD

Enough about poupee.
My threadless shirts have arrived!!!!
WHOOPEEEEE!!
And they fit perfectly!!! One is a tiny bit tight but i have tighter ones so... haha!
The shirts are super cool! On the back collar label, they will state and designer's name and all that.
I'm so gonna make more illustrations for threadless and aim to have my designs printed!!
If they have another super sale, i'll order more!

But one thing bad about it is that people can easily 'kop' your design and print illegally.
I saw many designs from threadless sold at a t-shirt shop back in China.
I was like "How come soooo familiar ar?"
Yes. Art thieves! D:<

Anyway, I can't wait to wear them!!! x3

Seeing them ranting their impatience made me impatient. haha!

And i've yet to do anything progressive.

Got back my Jap exam results.

In total i got 261/350.
Not good but considering i never really study... haha
I was shocked that my compo was 49/50.
COMPLETE SHOCK. I always get 33/50 or below.
I thought i wrote a load of crap there lah...
My main paper, grammar and vocab, had 66/100.
That's what you get for not studying.
Orals was 48/50. Yay!
Listening, 42/50.
Dictation 32/50. Expected...
The only thing i failed was my Kanji , which i hate the most. Failed by a mark. At least i scored some marks... i thought i scored Zero.
I totally forgot to study my kanji lah!
Until i saw my classmate studying, i was like "SHIT!!" and started memorising like mad before the test started. xDD

OMG.

DO AS INFINITY HAS REUNITED!!!!

Wah Whoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can imagine how happy i am right now.
My all time favourite jap band has come back!!!
I'm soooo looking forward to their new single!!
I think i'll be secretly smiling all the way to school later.

As for yesterday, it was a really close shave.
Hon, the critically critic of a course manager, decided to surprise everyone by walking into the classroom in the middle of our presentation.
We had news that he was joining us but he didn't join us when it started so we thought he wasn't coming.
To our dismay, he came.
I was the last and he critique the 3 before me. Why 3? Cos he talked ALOT.
I thought i was going to die, knowing him...
Then when it was my turn, he said he had a meeting to attend and left.
I was sooo relieved like dunno what.

My order for my 2 shirts from Threadless are shipped out already! Whoohoo!
They will come somewhere next weekend i think.
I bought them cos they were on sale... if not on sale i won't buy. Too ex... xDD

If anyone of you are bored to death check out the t-shirt designs from Threadless.com.
The designs are awesome! You can sign up and vote for your favourite design, and the company will print it on shirts.
The designers will get paid. Cool man...
Actually discovered it during internship when Lexin told me about it.
I tried once but my design got 'kicked out' halfway cos it wasn't popular enough.
haha... i got another idea though but i can only do it next march or so.

Anyway, i had my JLPT lvl 2 exam today!
And guess what!!!
I can't do a single damn thing! HAHA!

ok, not everything.
The listening paper was not bad.
The grammar and vocab papers killed it.
Almost 80-90% i never learn b4.
And actually, i never revise at all. Only did last minute revision in the train and while waiting for the exam to start.
The words that i learnt and came out, i knew them... but it was only like 1%. xDD

Oh well... i'll retake again next year. Hopefully i'll be more prepared.

Music changed to Feels like Tonight by Daughtry.
They are probably my favourite english band of all.
Very inspirational and heart-warming.

I saw the David Cook's new single commercial so it's the 1st time i heard his voice.
How to say... singing is nice lah but his voice very coarse and rough.
Like sandpaper... xD
Hear already, i feel uncomfortable. I don't like. No offence to any fans though.

Anyway, my design is in the newspaper!
It was in the Lian He Zao Bao on Dec 1 2008.



That is my internship company boss.
The green box he's holding is the box i made during my stay there.
Those of you whom i gave it to.... it's limited edition!! Better keep it safe! haha!
The other packagings are the company's other works.

I got a shock when my mother showed me this article.
It's about environmental packaging, cannot over package and all that stuff.

Speaking of packaging = design = FYP = die
These few days i've been abit 'emotionally unstable'.
In other words, depressed, stressed, cranky, sad and angry.
It's like 'you-touch-me-you-die' state.

Also, i dunno if i was imagining things cos someone or something was scratching my window sill from outside last night at 3.30am when i was still drawing.
It lasted for 2 minutes.
I dare not look up. I imagined too many frightening things during that 2 minutes. xDD
The radio helped to drown the noise abit too.
But i could be wrong... it also sounded like someone shaving or polishing metal in the wee hours at the balcony below our house.
But who would do that??
