Today i was so embarrassed....and also shocked...
My mother was looking through my closet to find some suitable winter clothings for the trip. After that, i had to change cos we had to go for a family gathering at my relative's new built house (another one). Then i took out my newly bought t-shirt, and then my mother said "Eh? i thought you want to bring this to the trip?" Then i said "Aiya, can wash mah, and it's next next week!" Then my mother laughed at me saying "THE FLIGHT IS NEXT MONDAY!!" I was damn shocked....i thought today was the 3rd of dec....oh gosh....i'm 1 week behind time!!!! The flight is in two days! I thought there was a week more! Man, i am damn stupid! My mother said i played too much computer games the whole day until i forgot what is the time, date and day. Whoa lao, give me a shock you know.... So after that, we went to the house warming party. This house nicer. $1.72 million dollar house. Got a pond with Kois and small fountain, a big windy rooftop for relaxing and bbqing. Damn nice sia! Oh well, some of us were watching Mulan on tv and then those football fanatics came to switch the channel to the world cup thing....argh! So boring... So my bro and i went over to join all my aunties and uncles, including my parents for a chat. Then i realised the whole reunion was split up into groups (actually this always happen all the time). There were the "football fanatics and youngsters" club at the living room with the tv, the "Boozers, alcholics and adults" hanging out at the car porch, and the "Senoir citizens" club which my bro and i joined at the dining table. My bro and i were senoir citizens.....HAHAHA!! But i usually hang out with the old people. I just can't mixed around with the younger ones, not used to it. I enjoy the company of old people, or like 50+ yr old ppl. Dun ask me why...i also dunno why i am like that... They converse in Cantonese mostly. Sometimes chinese, sometimes english. But i roughly understand lah. My stomach is abit pain. I dunno whether it's the food, drinks or the red wine ....ahhhh...oowww... Better start planning my "To bring" list, and start packing.... Changed my computer a few days ago. My bro fixed his old CPU to mine cos he bought a brand new one not long ago. So my computer has loads of space now!!!!! YAY!!!!!
But there are alot of adjustments. Now i dun have microsoft word and internet explorer. I dun have the antivirus software and a firewall. How bad can this get? AHH!!! I need proper softwares ok!!!!! Not really used to my new computer yet...though i can watch anime on it now...hahaha I'm really broke now...no allowance no job...yet i have many things to buy... PS and fish are asking me to draw some things for them... It's for fish's birthday and something which i owe PS cos she help me do something. Been playing Sims 2 and Ragnarok online the whole week everyday. Abit sian now.... Nowadays i keep meeting up with americans in the game...dunno why. The game is overpowered by Singaporeans i think but there are foreigners.... Dunno whether Kei became a knight already or not...hmm...never seen him in days liao... i'm getting to know the guild members more...finally saw akimoto takumi in the game whom chris has been toking abt all the time in the hotel stay... Can't wait to just fly off to somewhere else...ahhhh.....hurry up 12 dec!!! VERY SIAN!!!! Bought new spectacle frame. It's black and red, those kind of thick thick ones... My father said "you look more fierce." My mother said "you look more matured." My brother said "..." My maid said "very nice." I said "i looked abit stupid and different." Hm...i wonder which is correct... Anyway, Aeon Flux was quite nice. Very futuristic, not really my type but got action..haha! I like Aeon's hair!!! SO DAMN COOL!!!!!!! Prom Night was really fun!!!!!
On the 25/11/2005 friday evening was STC's prom night. I reached the Hilton hotel damn early, like i think 1/2 to an hour early. Don't ask me why, my mother wanted to fetch me at that time. Before going to the hotel, i dressed up and put the hair clay/wax to fix my hair so that it looks like a rocker of some sort (though it didn't turn out to be one). My mother rushed back from work to fix my hair. It took quite a while actually becos i was REALLY fussy abt the hair. I was one of the most earliest to reach. Then ngern whi came, then xinyi and cheryl, then fish then the rest... Man, we took a large amount of group photos. My eyes nearly turned blind by the flashes. *bing* I felt abit like an outcast cos everybody's hair and clothes were so nicely done and beautiful. Mine was damn sucky if u ask me. Everybody had makeup on except me but i was glad cos i hate makeup to the core. I put abit of lip colour but it cannot be seen. I especially like carmen's hair. Man, that was some awesome hairstyle! it's like those kind where you can find it in some manga characters. My eyes were sparkling when i saw her hairstyle. It was an inspiration. Stef's newly cut hairstyle was like a japanese doll. If she wore a kimono, she will look exactly like a japanese. I like stef's fur coat. I was commenting it the whole time.....C: There are others whose outfits and hair were inspiraing to me. Fish's hair and ngern whi's hair were some of them. So i took pictures of those inspiring hairstyles. Was really happy when i took them! haha... The whole clique looked really fantastic!!! The food was great! The octopus and chicken was the best. The rice and noodles weren't gd. Kept laughing at siew mun's jokes, it was either really cold or damn funny. But either way, i will still laugh. She was sitting next to me, tt's y. Had some lucky draw thing. The table right next to us had almost all of them winning a prize! The feng shui over there must be damn good, man! I mean really! Even the 1st prize went over to that table! How lucky can they get? Our table: carmen, xinyi, cheryl and me won the lucky draw too. I won a bottle of cologne. Made in Germany. Bought in Metro. rice tag teared off. HAHAHA!!! Too bad can't see how cheap it is... just kidding. There was a scavenger hunt. My hair was being pulled out in a 'bunch' for strands of white hair. They pulled my hair and man, it was painful!! And the hair cannot be plucked out! The pain was for nothing...haha...nvm...i dun really care now. Got beauty peagant also. Oh and on Graduation day(the same day morning), Mr Yeo's speech on our class 4B was very entertaining!!! He used enthalpy change, activation energy and some other chemical terms in his speech to describe our class! Whoa, he's really creative! ------------------------------ Hotel stay (26/11 to 29/11) Stayed at Amara hotel with xiuling and her school fren jie ying. The stay was fun. XL and i went to watch Zathura. Jie ying XL and some other guy whom i dunno had alittle confusion and it was a personal confusion. So i tried not to be a busybody; it was between those 3 schoolmates. But i got the picture of the situation and i won't tell it here, or else i might get scolded. Anyway, Zathura was extremely exciting!!!! I want to watch again! Bought some anime things and took neoprint and had dinner at cineleisure b4 watching the show. The next day, went to Escape. I took a moving sickness pill just in case, and it worked. I didn't get too dizzy after riding many rides. The haunted house was very humiliating. It was me who dragged XL to get out of the house right before we could even walk 5 steps further into the building. Man, that was stupid. I knew the ghostly hooded people were damn fake but i just hate the surprise attacks and the complete darkness. JY told me "See? I told you not to go in!" Later went around in Bugis to shop for hours till the evening. At night, we caught a show showing on Ch 5, the Spirit horse movie. We like the movie, so tt's y we rushed back to catch it. Ate Cupnoodles. Next day, had christina whom i never met b4 but got introduced by marcus and XL. She's a manga and anime freak like me. Recently turned into a RO player like XL and myself. A choir member and is a soprano. So there's something in common. But there's a wide gap between us: She's wacky and bursting with life. I am dead, boring and more cooled down and calm. She just loves to squeal and laugh loudly. She's also girly, too girly. Likes rap, dirty songs like "My Humps" by black eyed peas. I mean i just can't mix with this kind of people. But, she is very friendly and open and an anime freak. So, i guess it's ok. But i just can't stand really wild, noisy and girly atmospheres. It really irritates me. So i had to just bare with it in the hotel. I got to know some other bands and songs that i come to hate just by watching MTV on the hotel tv. Man, this sucks when rocks songs don't appear on the screens and speakers. XL and christina were all singing along happily to those kind of songs....nvm...i dun really care. the last 2 days were boring actually, cos we didn't go out to shop or do anything. Just lazing around in the hotel grounds. Plus, they kept pestering me about coming back into the RO game cos i didn't play for many many months already. i kept saying my comp had no space for new downloads, but they just kept chanting on and on....argh... XL really changed alot....wilder, wackier and girly.... irritates me...but i dun really care...she's a gd fren... Oh well! I really enjoyed the prom night with my frens the most!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, the whole saddening story goes like this: A month ago when i started watching a new anime series "Eureka 7" which is a REALLY GREAT show. However, after watching the opening theme of the 1st episode, i was screaming my head off. WHY?! The reason is simple: THEY ALREADY PUBLICISED THE IDEA THAT I AM PLANNING TO PUT IN MY OWN MANGA!!! How bad can this get, huh???!!! Well actually, it gets worse by the minute. Now at this time and date (thursday 1 dec 2005, 8.45 pm), I am reading Tsubasa reservoir chronicles book 11. And so the SAME IDEA appears in the book. So in conclusion: Eureka 7 is not really a "REALLY GREAT" show after all. TRC too. (Well actually, both are very good anime and manga, i must really admit. They are one of my favs.) The BIG IDEA: My original manga character is a half boy half machine. OK, that's fair enough. He is a bandit and seeks his identity. Sounds ok so far, right? Here's the main part: He rides on his flying skateboard which is transformed from a small metal piece in his pocket. So what's all fuss about? Eureka 7 is all about giant robots and humans riding a flying skateboard. Tsubasa had this small part about a gang of hooligans also riding the flying skateboards. Dear readers, if u were me, how would you respond to this? You already know my response... ----- You know, these 2 shocks really shook me, ok. I mean if these extremely popular companies publicised their ideas already, i have no chance in advancing, man! I am now trying really hard to rumage thru my brain to think of new ideas. Why do these companies have to publicise their things so fast??? Forget it....i'll try again!!!!!!
